Why did I save an eyebrow?

The rest of the office/craft room got sorted today! We had a rainy day due to Ike sneaking by so it was perfect weather for finishing up this messy room. OMG, I am such a packrat! There was junk everywhere!
This is the desk. Hum, I need to tidy up those cords underneath. Why don't you notice those things in real life? Taco has another bed under this desk. When we were deciding which desk to buy a couple years ago, Jessie made the comment, "Any of these would be nice, until Mom clutters it all up!" She had a valid point. I do like to clutter. I try to keep it to a couple of smallish piles and everyone must admit, I have done an excellent job of keeping the desk-top clear.
The stitching area. I did buy a bulletin board for over my stitching desk. The chest of drawers holds the rest of my stitching supplies. I sorted all the drawers and straightened everything up. I even found my dark interfacing that had gone missing! This is the rest of the room. It's only 10x10, so we have had to maximise the space. The bins between the desk and bookcases are what I store my charts, leaflets, books and magazines in. There are also three of these bins under my desk. A lucky 13 in all and I'll need more soon. Packrat, ya' know. I need to go through the books on that bookcase, it's getting overloaded! I don't even want to think about what the basement looks like...
What the hell is that???

Oh, that's a Groucho Marx eyebrow. You know...from one of those party favor glasses with the moustache and eyebrows? It fell off. I found this while sorting ribbons and trim. It was in with the trim.

Why did I save an eyebrow?

As a good packrat (like me) you kept it because you are sure you didn't trash the other one !!! lol

OMG, I love, love, LOVE that room! Can I move in, please????? Oh my word. To have that corner with your comp and everythings like it is... *drooling*
For some reason, I see a witch with a puffy skirt- the mustache- wouldn't that be cool?

What a wonderful room you've got. I am sooooo jealous. ;D You have alot of stuff, but you've got it organized so well. I know, because I'm the same way. LOL As for the eyebrow, I'm sure you thought it would come in handy for an embellishment someday. LMBO Also, thanks for visiting and leaving a comment on my blog.

You have been working hard, I'd love a space like that.

About the eyebrow - so you know where the other one is????

Wow.. you were really feeling ambitious to do all that organizing. For me, I see that eyebrow as doll hair!

Great organisational skills you have - your studio/office looks great.

I have plastic cup hooks along the back of my desk and just lay the cables along the back - voila - no wires!

The eyebrow - mmnn - maybe you will find the other one and then you will have the pair!

I am totally impressed- now if I had tackled that job, I would've noticed something and thought - wow, I should pick this up and work on it! Then I'd try putting a magazine away and say "Let's see if there's anything I'd like to work on!" That would go in the same pile as the newly interesting WIP, the eyebrow? I'd have to stick it on my lip and go kiss someone at which time I'd probably decide I'd done enough in my craft room and deserved a well earned snack! You see where this is going, don't you? That's why I need you to come over and help me. Do you live anywhere near NY???
I have to say - just the "What the hell is that???" comment got me laughing! I've had stuff like that, too!!! I mean really, the minute you'd throw it away......you'd need it!! Never fails!

Good job all around - good tidying and good laughs provided!

P.S. After the laugh I got, I had to add you to my blog list!

Your craft room/office space is MUCH tidier than mine!
That eyebrow is just the sort of thing I'd save too "in case it came in handy"

What a wonderful space you have! I am a clutterbug too, and have cross stitch and craft supplies all over the house. Someday, my 27 year old son will get a clue and move out and I will have a wonderful craft space as well. Will you come and help me organize it? Please?

I'd have saved that eyebrow too. I'd be tempted to head out to do the shopping with just the one eyebrow on and see how people react. Do you think anyone would actually say anything?

Your pictures all show such orderly looking surroundings. I'm so jealous!!
