Follow My Blog

The blogger following widget is pretty cool but you are only allowed to follow 200 blogs. Considering I currently have nearly 300 blogs in my reader, a good majority of them on blogger, I clearly cannot follow everyone. That's really crappy! I made the difficult decision to follow only those that display the widget on their blog.

Last Sunday, I visited every blog I was following, checked for the widget and deleted them if it wasn't there. Yup, I visited 200 blogs on Sunday! I'm sorry if you were deleted! NOTE: I still read your blog if you are in the list in my sidebar. I was able to pare the 200 blogs down to eleventy-one (111). If you add the following widget to your blog, I'll likely start following your blog again. That is until I reach the 200 limit again, at which time I'll probably have to visit them all again and weed out those that haven't been updated in yonks.

I currently have 88 friends following my blog. That is amazingly awesome! Thank you all so much! I decided I will have a giveaway after (if ever) I reach 100 followers! Or would eleventy-one be more fun? Anyway, please follow my blog and watch this space for a giveaway, hopefully soon.

There is not an incredible amount of progress being made on Crabby but I'll show you anyway. I discovered a tiny little frog, one stitch short, on the seat of the 'L' in love and had to re-stitch the word. Poo, it would have to be red and leave fluff behind, the discoloration even defeated lint rollering. Dratted little frog. The fluff will come out with washing but that has to wait.

Little miss Taco had decided her new favorite warm-snuggly, sleepy spot is my laptop. I'll come in and find a zillion windows opened from little cat feets walking over my keyboard. Plus hairs. And it's difficult to type when someone is snoozing on the keyboard. I changed my setting so the computer does nothing when I close the lid. I just have to remember to close the lid. Every time I leave. ***plucking a cat hair from the keyboard***

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Glad I'm not the only one who has to pluck cat hair from my keyboard. LOL!!!

I adore your "Crabby All Year" piece. I have this all kitted up and you're making me itch to get it started. I have too many WIPs as it is. No wait...is there such a thing as too many WIPs? One more couldn't hurt, right? Right?!?!!? ;-)

LOL Sara, it's a computer application. Go to your dashboard, click 'layout' choose 'add a gadget' and choose 'Followers'. Then save and the widget will appear in your blog's sidebar.

I'm follower #89 :)

Love crabby all year and your cat finishes in the last entry.

Just in case you haven't heard you can use google reader. You put blogs in it to keep track of. It lets you know when someone has updated by displaying a number beside their site. I use this instead of the follow feature on here. Might worth checking it out. I don't think there is a limit.

Ok, I give in!!!! You're officially the very first blog I'm following!!! I didn't think it was necessary for me to use this function before cause I usually use the blog list function to follow blogs, but since there's a giveaway involved, I'll contribute to be one more follower on your blog~~

Stupid frogs!! But, still good progress:)

I'll probably have to do the same clean up you just did, cause I was following everyone on my blog list too! Thanks for the heads up!

I made the cut! I'm still there! LOL

I have little tiny short doxie hairs in my stuff so I can sympathize about the cat...(also have 3 other dogs, but they don't seem to get embedded like Rudy-fur does...)

The more I see of 'Crabby' the more I* want to stitch it, but I think with all my wip's it would have to be next year!!

I am a follower already!!;0)

It seems that on the blogs I follow, via my sidebar, the frogs are coming out in droves.

Crabby All Year is looking great.

No computer/cross stitch is complete without cat fur!

Love the following gadget. I follow everyone who follows me (plus like a gazillion more) which is why it takes me an hour to go through my Google Reader. ;) Girl, get one of those neoprene sleeves to put the laptop in, kitty weight is definitely not good for it!

cat hair isnt a problem I have , now dog hair lol is another thing I keep sewing bits in everywhere then have to get the tweezers to pull them out.crabby is coming along well

Great progres on your project!

I didn't know there is a limit of 200 blogs, I'm already following a lot of blogs, including yours, I just enjoy reading those blogs and looking at the wonderful crafts everybody is making.

I tried that stupid widget but it screwed up my Google Reader so that's why I don't have one on my Blog :o( Glad you still visit though :o)

I'm glad to be a follower too. I think your "crabby" is really cool. That dratted frog has been visiting me lately as well.

Oh, bad froggy! I just love your Crabby , you've made a good progress on it. Sure without your cat you wouldn't have stitched so much.

I've got the widget, but haven't started "following" any blogs yet. Not even really sure what it means. I have my blogger feeds. Truth be told, it's a well-maintained illusion that I am web savvy at all.

love crabby, shame about the frog, especially whilst using red thread! I don't know what it's like to have cat hair but my pooch loses a bucket load of coat a day!

Crabby is looking good, sorry to hear you had a little frogging to do.

LOL at least I'm not the only one who can't leave thier laptop open because of the cat! Hunter loves to sit on mthe keyboard... god knows what naughty places he's been to on the internet!

Your "Crabby" project is coming along nicely. I hate having to frog stitches too. Mine are always in black or some really dark color too and scream out at me the entire time I am stitching. Quite aggravating, but tis the life of a stitcher!

Hi Sharon thanks for your visit to my blog, it will be a pleasure to follow yours!
