Seduced

I've hardly read any blogs this week. I've been seduced away from the Internet by Netflix! In a word ~ awesome! I spent the time watching The Pillars of the Earth and finishing the stitching on my exchange...then a few threads were put into this damn suitcase. Not a lot of progress to show but the exchange will be finished soon, maybe this weekend and it doesn't have far to travel so I'll be able to post it next week. Maybe this suitcase will be done soon too? I'll catch up on my reader this weekend for sure.

I know you didn't come here to see my puny stitching progress. You wanna see who won, right? I had a lot of entries for the Halloween pin pillow giveaway! Lots of you like Halloween! I put the number of entries into the random generator and it spit out lucky # 13. However, Peggy Lee is # 13 and she asked not to be included, sooooo...the next number chosen was #1, Silverlotus of Reflections in the Pond. Woo ~ congratulations! I'll be in contact for your mailing address! And Peg? How do you manage to get drawn twice in a row???
.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Oh now that's just WEIRD!
I am SO HAPPY for the winner though...especially since it was #1 and everybody says that one doesn't get picked.
Your stitching is absolutely gorgeous and anyone should be honored to receive something from you.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Netflix IS awesome. When all the local movie rental places closed down we had to find something to satisfy our occasional movie fix. Now we enjoy several movies a month. Keep stitching on that suitcase - you'll have it done in no time.

Congrats to the winner! Also how did you like Pillars of the Earth?
My sister in law worked on that film while they filmed it! We're in the process of watching it too, though we don't have Netflix so we have to wait for Monday night when its on :O)

Your progress may be puny to you, but its more stitching than I've managed this week. You're nearly halfway with the blocks now.

You're almost done with JUNE, congratulations, Sharon. It's coming along nicely. As for Netflix....I love it too.
Thanks for sharing, have a great day.

I keep thinking about subscribing to Netflix, but I worry that I'd watch too much television. How did you like Pillars of the Earth, Sharon? I haven't read the book, but people rave about it...

You're almost done with "June"--you can do it :)

We're getting the family the Roku box for Christmas...oh man then it will probably become a deeply seated habit :)

Your stitching is as lovely as usual! Movies have a real advantage over blogs when stitching.....Maybe blogs will have text we can hear one day....I can but dream!!!
