No More Dreams

I finished Dandy Dreams last night. It was really sad to end ~ this was such a fun design to stitch! I used the recommended DMC and my own hand-dyed fabric. I'm very pleased with this finish!

Design ~ Dandy Dreams
Designer ~ Silver Creek Samplers
Fabric ~ 32 Count Tea-Stained Lugana
Fiber ~ DMC

Tentatively planning a pillow finish-finish for this piece. I guess I need to go fabric shopping next! The colors are classic so I'm thinking a matching fabric should be easy to find. Those could be famous last words, right?

Not much else going on here. I've been trying to decide what I want to start next ~ like twenty or so are already calling. It's official, I have startitus. Dandy Dreams is a side effect and I nearly started another project several times while stitching it but was able to resist. Maybe I will pull out one of my long-term projects and put in some stitches. I might just pull out a few new ones and start them all!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Very pretty stitching! :)

I feel having a startitis too
even I still have only 2/15 of my
Crazy January Challenge 2011 projects done.
I would love to start one of the DMC Cats, a lovely kit with a black and white kitten on a poppy field..

Beautiful piece and I love your fabric. It always seems like it's harder to find the coordinating finishing fabric than you think it will be. Wishing you good luck on the hunt.

It's beautiful. The fabric you dyed is a perfect background.

This just maskes me want to dance for you. Give me a week and I'll put this one to bed too.

Start them all! I did this last summer and ended up started over 20. And then I had plenty of 'dog days of summer' projects to do.

Lovely finish! Startitis is in the air, started a new one last week myself and have a couple more waiting anxiously in the wings too!

Gorgeous finish . I felt the same when it came to finishing this chart , I think I could have even stitched it again right after , but I had too many other things on . Not ruling it out though , lol.

I really enjoy seeing your work, but sometimes I miss it because your posts don't show fully in Google Reader.....I am not sure what setting is preventing it, but it must be on your setup as all of my other blogger blog posts show 100% in reader with pictures and everything. With the quantity of blogs I subscribe to, I rarely click into blogs that don't show completely in reader....

Oh thats lovely, what a great finish.

That's such a pretty finish, and the best thing is that you can now go shopping for fabric!

Startitis, finishitis, I have them both!

It is gorgeous, Daff! I love the hand dyed fabric and the floss colors, and cannot wait to see the finish. You are so talented. :)
Sometimes a WIP is like a really good novel, you are torn between seeing how it finishes and wanting it to go on forever.

I'm itching to start something new too, but I have to finish sockeye first, it's been a WIP for too long. So that's what I'm sticking too. I love you finish though! I might have to put this chart on my wishlist. Oh if wishes were pennies I'd have millions! LOL

Your hand dyed fabric was absolutely perfect! It is a wonderful piece....your stitching is lovely as always! I think you should start as many projects as you like....After all the enjoyment is in the stitching, isn't it? I think we are sometimes too hard on ourselves about finishing.....after all which golfers feel bad about not finishing a round? lol

Love this. I hope it isn't the last time it shows up on your blog? I would really like to see what your pillow finish looks like. Are you going to do a clean finish, or add some piping/ribbon/lace along the seam?
