Miss Yellow Legs

I am not sure what this little lady's real story is but I think she has stolen a bit of Christmas garland and is being chased by two unseen hens. She probably has a pretty accent too. What do you think is happening in this block?

My Prairie Schooler ornaments are zooming right along. These are such a joy to stitch. I adore the colors and the theme and I really like the Lugana I dyed. How perfect could one 12-part project be? Mind, I will regret not finish-finishing them as I go but I still haven't gone shopping for supplies! It will be an ornament finishing orgy once I have them, won't it?

If you have entered my blogoversary giveaway don't forget to leave a comment on this post too for another entry!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

I do the same thing, stitch a bunch of stuff and procrastinate on the finishing, then I have a day of torture and only get through half my pile.

Love the fabric you're stitching these on.

These ornaments are so fun, but every time I see one I start singing that song. I'm sure that when you get to "Five Gold Rings" it will be stuck in my head for good! : )

Lovely! I love these little ornaments! Are they still available or is the pattern OOP?

You are going to be finished this set well before Christmas. You are going to have to show a pic of your tree this year with all your wonderful ornaments!
I can hardly wait to stitch mine!

This is another cute ornament. I think the fabric helps the design really stand out.

I think this hen is trying to catch up with the other two hens She is proud of herself for not being a chicken and stealing a piece of garland. Okay maybe not. lol.

She looks to me as if she has stolen some beautiful garland and is rushing to decorate the hen house. :o) Lovely stitching.

Happy 4th blogoversary, Sharon! Time flies, I have had following your stitching adventure for years. :) Always enjoyed to see all your beautiful works. Love your 12 days of christmas stitching pieces. Partridge on the pear tree and three french hens are adorable and two turtle doves is lovely. Very nice! Your "Fill with Love" christmas ornament is beautiful too. Love the finishing. Have a happy Halloween!

She's a fine leggy hen indeed! Perhaps she wants the limelight all to herself and doesn't want to share with the other two.
In any case, she's turned out wonderfully. I'll bet these stitches are a lot of fun!
