Darn It, Paulette!

I know I've been posting a lot of quilting this past year...but I still stitch! The pumpkin pillow in my latest Pumpkin Day post was finished in recent months, I just saved posting about it for that special day. There is a little project going right now:

I adore The Victoria Sampler's birdies. Too cute! The pine branches always seem to get the best of me, I can never get them placed as charted! Never!

I need to get this one finished, yesterday, if possible. Yesterday? Because OMG have you seen Plum Street Samplers new Sunday Mystery Sampler? AS IF I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH PROJECTS ON THE GO Paulette is gifting the lot of us with the rest of the 12 Days of Christmas designs she started in Just Cross Stitch magazine. Now, I love me some 12 Days and these are just too nice to save for later! I have fabric ordered from 123 Stitch! so as soon as it's here, wahoo! Just kidding about cursing over it...many, many thanks to our dear, generous Paulette!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Your buttoned birdie is very cute and the branch placement looks fine to me. Hmm! Off to check out what Paulette is up to, right now!

Branches always get the best of me too! Just so easy to get off track a stitch or two. The good thing is that its never really visible.

Very sweet project you are working on. I too saw the 12 days SAL - it looks lovely, I have saved the first part and debating if to order the fabric... ;)

Love your little birdies and I'm another one who couldn't resist the SAL!

I love 12 Days designs too. The good news is that each one is a quick stitch. It only took me two days to do the first one.

I love your latest work in progress - such a sweet little design... Your branches look fine to me.. Lol, I "cleared the decks" when I heard about the SAL... When I shall stitch it who knows - but until I do I shall just coo over it... I have always wanted to stitch a 12 Days of Christmas but couldn't find one that I was entirely happy with - this one is as near to perfect as I could want:) Take care now x

This bird is a new pattern to me - but I just love it. Birds always remind me of my mother and this one in particular does. I'm excited about the Sunday stitching too! blessings, marlene
