See what I found in my mailbox? Annemarie's kitty! Isn't she the sweetest? I am in love! I won the kitty in Annemarie's blog giveaway. The kitty is filled with birch shavings and smells lovely. Annemarie took the time to stitch a little tag for the kitty with our initials and the year. OMG. Be sure to go visit her blog. Be warned: I am not responsible for ruined keyboards on account of drooling.
Last post I promised I'd share my new WIP when I decided on one. Here it is. Creepy from Lizzie Kate's Boo Club. I must have taken 20 pictures but I can't get the fabric color to come out. The fabric is the orange I dyed on Saturday. Think of the brightest tangerine you've ever seen...that's the color. I'm stitching with sunglasses on...
xox
Lucky you to win that kitty. Congratulations! Doncha hate taking pictures sometimes? You want to show how nice something looks but the light, time of day, something just never comes out right.
ReplyDeleteCute kitty. Your stitching isn't creepy! Love the fabric you dyed. Even if the brightness doesn't show --- it's still pretty.

ReplyDeleteI remember what your orange looked like the day you dyed it. I wonder what has happened??? Did you try taking a photo outside? I can imagine this is really cute and the fabric is as bright as the sun. Are you going to do a purple next?

Pretty kitty!
ReplyDeleteI tried squinting my eyes, but on my monitor the orange fabric for Creepy is not so orange. So then I pretended to have on my sunglasses - wow! that's orange!

Annamarie's kitty is so cute! Love the new start - it's a pity the colour does not show up correctly - it does seem so bright on Saturday's post.
