Fun mail and a WIP

See what I found in my mailbox? Annemarie's kitty! Isn't she the sweetest? I am in love! I won the kitty in Annemarie's blog giveaway. The kitty is filled with birch shavings and smells lovely. Annemarie took the time to stitch a little tag for the kitty with our initials and the year. OMG. Be sure to go visit her blog. Be warned: I am not responsible for ruined keyboards on account of drooling.

Last post I promised I'd share my new WIP when I decided on one. Here it is. Creepy from Lizzie Kate's Boo Club. I must have taken 20 pictures but I can't get the fabric color to come out. The fabric is the orange I dyed on Saturday. Think of the brightest tangerine you've ever seen...that's the color. I'm stitching with sunglasses on...

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

  7. I've made 2 of those primitive kittys. Aren't they the cutest?

I remember what your orange looked like the day you dyed it. I wonder what has happened??? Did you try taking a photo outside? I can imagine this is really cute and the fabric is as bright as the sun. Are you going to do a purple next?

  10. Your kitty is gorgeous, I have that kitty in my stash to stitch too. I really want to stitch her, but I've got a heap of other stitching to do first. The tag Annemarie made for it looks just right.

I'm drooling over your kitty- I want one too! Maybe I can convince Annemarie to stitch mine for me...

  11. Pretty kitty!
I tried squinting my eyes, but on my monitor the orange fabric for Creepy is not so orange. So then I pretended to have on my sunglasses - wow! that's orange!

Very cool new LK piece. The fabby doesn't look as orange on my screen, but I love the variegated effect and how the stitching just pops!
