I'm a little late with posting but I assure you, the ceremonial dumping of the ORTs went off on time!
Here is my little monthly jar next to my big ORT container. Reluctantly, I included the dreadful Ball of Shame.
The little jar is now clean and ready to be filled with the next month's offerings. I think I'll offer the Ball of Shame to the birds. I really can't stand looking at the little sucker anymore! If you'd like to save your ORTs and show us the results every new moon there is a link in my sidebar for the TU SAL (Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long) We'd love for you to join in!

I had the nicest surprise in my mailbox last week from Karen. She made these darling little note cards & folder and sent them as a thank-you gift for the RAK I sent her. Aren't they precious? She is obviously very talented at papercrafting! Thank you so much, Karen!

Cute note cards. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of orts. I haven't stitched any lately --- no orts for me.
LOL! You're too funny Sharon ;o)
ReplyDeleteWow! She made those? Lovely and what a nice thank you gift :o)
The big and small jar look great. All those lovely colors..
ReplyDeleteThe cards you get are so beautifull. Enjoy them.
How is May doing???
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI bet the birds are going to have fun with the orts and nice pretty gift.
I love your way of using a smaller monthly jar that you 'pour' into the larger jar. I haven't posted my orts yet for this latest phase of the moon either so you are ahead of me!
ReplyDeleteReally cute notecards! You won't believe what I did with my LHN May sampler. I miscounted and one of the top borders is 1 stitch off making the two side borders off as well. I am so disgusted with myself that I have put it aside until I decide what to do with it! See, you aren't the only one.
ReplyDeleteYour ORT jar really does look pretty, and I'm sure the birds will welcome your "ball of shame"!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift!
It's a shame that the ball of shame is almost bigger than your orts for the month. I agree, the birds would make a nice nest of it and it would go to a good use!
ReplyDeleteYou are right about the Ball of Shame. Birds can do all the pecking they want!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your thank you gift!!
Aha, btw the word verification for me reads 'spotorts'!! What a coincidence!!
Lovely notelets. I love all the colours in your orts. Definately give the ball of shame to the birds.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Sharon you are gonna need counselling for that ball of orts soon...LOL!
ReplyDeletePretty notelets.
Karen is very talented, what a lovely gift to receive and so useful.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the birds will be very grateful for the 'ball of shame' i nice liner for their nest
Oh too funny. There really isn't a ball of shame - that's just your learning curve assembly!!! It gave you more orts for the jar!
ReplyDeleteThat's just too weird when particular orts represent bad memories! Glad I'm able to view my orts dispassionately! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove those note cards!
Thats a lot of orts! Love the notecards
ReplyDeleteYour orts are very long!! Do you stitch using the loop method?
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of stitching going on judging by the orts in that vase.
ReplyDeletePretty notecards! I love the colours.
Those baby birds will thank you for the nest lining. Gorgeous notecards & folder. :0)
ReplyDeleteThe notecards are so cute! And that's an awful lot of ORTs. But that's a good thing - means a lot of stitching is being done.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up...ball of shame!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet gift from Karen--love the bright colors. It makes you happy just to look at those notecards!
ReplyDeleteCute cards!
ReplyDeleteNice cards!
ReplyDeleteHope all is OK with you after the bad storms last night!
ReplyDeleteI just love looking at the layers of projects in ort jars!!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous notecards you got!
