Oh.
My.
Freakin'.
Stars.
Have you seen the new Bent Creek charts out? Here are a couple of lovelies...photos courtesy of The Silver Needle.
Gnomes in a Garden Row. I 'bout fell over when I saw this one. It went straight into my cart and I couldn't type in those credit card numbers fast enough! My daughter, Jessie, loves gnomes (and so do I) so this one I couldn't live without.
I wanted to thank you for the sweet comments on my last few posts. Sheba has a swelled head and has been carrying on with the latest of her hedgehog stuffies. I have emailed the recipe for the toffee cream scones to those that had emails in their profile and asked about it. Thanks too, for the offers of the silk ribbon I need want. I believe there is some on the way to me! Little Mr. Bunny is nearly finished and I'm looking forward to putting him together!
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

ReplyDeleteDarn you, Daffycat - just when my Visa card stops smoking, I visit you and it starts on fire again! My "couldn't resist was the "Quaker Noel".
(PS - can I tell my hubby that it's YOUR fault???) LOLOLOL :)
What a gorgeous ornament from Angela, yeah the Canadian Postal System is know to use sled dogs sometimes so it can be a tad slow. But now that the snow is almost gone, it'll be back to normal! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou are truly cruel, you know that? rofl I haven't been around here in quite some time. .numerous things have kept me from stitching, and it just hurt too much to be tempted, so I kept my distance. .but I thought oh heck. .that is silly, I'll stop by to see what you are doing. .and what do I get?
ReplyDeleteTempted with gnomes, which are adorable, and reference to a toffee cream scone recipe that sounds totally delicious!! The Fates were lying in wait for me! Cruel I tell you!!!
So now you KNOW I'm going to have to buy another pattern for my stash, and maybe it will inspire me to pick up my needle again and give it a try, and perhaps whenever you have the time, to share your recipe with me, I totally, gratefully appreciate it.. and I'll try not to go into hiding again. .:-)
What a lovely swap gift, so glad that it didn't get lost on it's way to you.
ReplyDeleteBTW, loved Sheba's video debut!
Beautiful ornament and stitching! Cool new charts, too!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty charts and that ornament is awesome!

ReplyDeleteOkay, that's a gorgeous red ornament you received!
ReplyDeleteNew stash is always a good thing, and looking forward to your silk finishing experiment. :)
I have to stay away from online shopping. I have this nervous finger twitch and the things just fall so quickly into my cart when I am not in control :)
