The New Moon is today...have you polished your ORT jars? My broken arm doesn't allow me to do much but I have been able to put a few stitches in. Look! Two whole ORTs!
I'm five weeks in now with this arm. Slow going, but I'm in it for the long haul, right? Speaking of long hauls, the last time les moutons came out to play was 2009, started in 2007.
I can't say I've enjoyed stitching the last few bits here but at least I can stitch if I set my mind to it. I can't make an upsweep with my arm to pull the thread through but a few tugs on the thread brings it up. Long haul. Sigh!
I can't wait to use my arm again!
=^..^=
Now it is YOUR turn...we want to see your ORTs! Leave a comment on this post with a link to your November TUSAL post so we can come visit! If I hold a Totally Useless giveaway your comment will earn you an extra entry.

A few stitches on les moutons is better than nothing and they all count towards an eventual finish
Hope you are healing well. Hope it's not long before you can be back to normal...
ReplyDeleteGreat that you stitch a little bit every now and then. I hope your arm will be fully usable soon.
ReplyDeleteGratz on your first stitches. You'll be back!

Glad to see you’ve at least been able to get a little stitching done and hope you’re able to enjoy it again soon.
ReplyDeleteI’m late posting, but here are my November ORTS.
That is such a cute pattern! Love those sheep! Unfortunately, I can't find the pattern available anywhere. I will continue to enjoy watching you stitch it :) Hope the arm is better soon.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm guessing that two orts is better than NONE!!! Hopefully, you get your arm back soon, and it's not long before it's 100%. Good luck!!!
ReplyDeleteOh good grief, I'm away for 2 years and I log back on to find that the ORT collection is still going. I have to unpack my jar yet, from my move last December. However, how thrilled I am to see SHEEPIES !!!!!
ReplyDeleteTrying really hard to get back to blogging.

ReplyDeletePneumonia has sidelined my ort production. I promise that there will be an ort picture to share next month! Sorry to hear about your broken arm.
ReplyDeletePlenty of yarn orts, no floss ones sadly. I love the little sheepies, and I hope your arm heals well soon!
ReplyDeleteYou sure were a trooper stitching with a broken arm but in all honesty I probably would have given it a go too :) Love Les Moutons, they are adorable!!
