Mystery Quilt Week 5

Once again I'm late for the link up! Christmas busyness took the wind right out of my sewing sails. Always too much to do and never enough time...and we don't even do big celebrations. Whew!

This week's clue was a repeat of clue two - flying geese but in chocolate and neutrals. Easy enough, especially this busy week. HA! And I'm not even done!

This is all that are complete. Maybe 40?

My duty today is to turn the rest of these neat piles into a honking lot of flying geese before the next clue comes out tomorrow morning! And I will lose a few hours as I have sent a shopping list to Dash to pick up the items I need to cook Chinese/Thai for our dinner. I am in desperate need of stir-fry and Jasmine rice.

Better get hopping!

Linking up with Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Tuesday Link-Up, Part 5.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

  2. Yikes, that's a rather large flock of geese - guess you're making a rather large quilt. I'm sure you'll chain stitch those guys up lickety splitly and be ready for tomorrow's new clue.

  7. How is it coming along? I finished the blocks, and was so worn out from that effort that I nearly dozed off while sewing the 120 paired coral and cream sashing strips today. I have cut everything for the final assembly, but it needs to be done carefully so each sashing strip is pointing the right way.
