Best Brownie Recipe Ever

These are such yummy treats!

You will need:

1 box of Ghirardelli Ultimate Fudge brownie mix.
Water.
Oil.
Egg.

Creation effort: minimal.

Preparation time: approximately 3 months.

Instructions: Purchase ingredients. Place box of brownie mix into the cupboard. Now, it's a little iffy. You need to wait until husband (or significant other) gets tired of looking at said box of mix languishing in the cupboard and bakes them. Mine took three months, your wait time might be shorter or longer, depending. See? I said they were easy! Almost effortless! Yummy too. Just wait & see.

I'm teasing, these brownies were actually made by me as a surprise for Dash when he gets home tonight. But every time we make them I do remember our very first box!

Just a little fun to tide you over until I can gather all the info needed to draw a winner for the giveaway. It might take a couple of days. I will try to hurry!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

  1. Sounds like a tricky recipe. It's hard to tell when brownies are done, but not over-done. I'll have to leave that one for the experts! ;-)

  6. I've had these brownies. But, I like to wait until everyone's gone and eat them all! No not really - but the thought has crossed my mind!

  8. My 5 boxes of brownies are currently on the wait 3 months part. I started out with 2 boxes which turned into 5 due to bogo and coupons. Then I made a cake first. But I'm sure they will be ready by PMS time :)

  9. I love those Brownies. They are the best. Funny as my husband is the one that buys these on his weekly run to Costco (he's addicted to the place), but I haven't seen him make a batch once. Well, maybe one time, but then I had to direct him to where the pan was, the shortening to grease said pan......well, you know - I just should have baked them for myself! But they're the best no matter who makes them!

  12. That sounds and looks real good which is frustrating for us who like in England and can not get that brand!! I hope you enjoyed them, because in this house they would be all gone.

  13. Lol, I think I could wait years here.

  14. If that box made it into our home they'd be done in record time! Bob wouldn't wait for me. He's a chocoholic and has already mentioned those brownies when we've done groceries. I've put off getting them because I'm afraid I'd eat all of them, lol!

  16. ROFL @ the 3 months..... I actually had to read that twice and then spent some time trying to decide if there was a joke hidden in there.... till I read the post!! HAHAHAHA.

  17. What a great idea. Unfortunately, I haven't got a significant other to do the work for me. I may get a box and do them myself though. That looks yummy!!!

  20. Too funny! I think it would take my husband longer than 3 months unless I asked him to do it. But now I'm hungry for brownies!

  21. Sounds like my recipe for Birthday cake - invite friend who bakes round for coffee on Birthday, mention you must go to supermarket to buy cake, baking-friend recoils in alarm at thought of shop-bought cake and brings her delicious cake with her.

  22. MMMMM, thank you for sharing, *sad it isn't the real edible thing* lol

  23. I don't think we have that brand in the UK but I love brownies. It is difficult to gauge the cooking time though. It is a fine line between dry/squidgy/raw and 5 mins either way will ruin them won't it.
    Hope you enjoyed them.

  26. Now, that's a recipe that I can follow lol!

  27. You did make me laugh! Unfortunately, I think my hubby would take longer than three months! In fact he would just go out and buy some....much easier! lol

  28. Wouldn't work here. Hubby might eat one or two if I bake them. I, on the other hand, will eat the rest of the pan which is why I don't make them!

Will have to make a cake soon since his b'day is coming up.
