I checked her blog several times a day, hoping to see something positive. Not only am I saddened, I am terribly angry. Thank you for letting everyone know.
I just read my email from Katie and saw the news on her blog....my heart breaks for her family. What an amazing woman to have touched so many of us without actually having met in person...
I am very sorry and I think of her with tears in my eyes. I also checked her blog daily. My condelences to the family. May be it helps a little when I say, look at the sky, there's a star twinkling, that's Cathey, who looks down.
I just saw the email from Katie and read the news on her blog.... Such a sad day... :( I feel for her husband, baby boy and family and friends.... It is devastating news - she is now in safe place without pain. Another Angel in Heaven Hugs xx
I just received the email and read about her passing on Katie's blog. So very sad. Without having ever met her I was so touched by this courageous woman. My heart goes out to her family.
Oh this is just too awful. I was so worried not to see her post in awhile. My heart goes out to her husband and her special little Junior. Life is so unfair. God speed our sister Cathey. :(
I have such a heavy heart reading this hun, I got on my blog tonight to celebrate the birth of my grandson today and read this about cathey. She loved her little boy so very much and was such a sweet lady. I know she will be dearly missed by so many. My heart and prayers go out to all that loved this dear lady.
I have checked her blog too lately, hoping for good news and feel so sad and angry at reading this... Cannot help thinking of her little boy, I am sure he is a fighter as his mum has been but still, I am crying... Thank you for letting us know.
Very sad news. Judging by the response to 'Pumpkins for Cathey', she will be as much missed in the blogging world as she will be by her family and friends.
I didn't know Cathey, our Internet roads had never met. Only when the pumpkins started appearing on many of my stitcher-friends' blogs I found out who she is. I am sorry, that's all I can say!AriadnefromGreece!
How very sad. I didn't know her I'm afraid and I think, by all the tributes I'm seeing, that it was my loss. My thoughts go out to her family and her friends.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I saw all the pumpkins the other week and was bowled over by how many people had joined it. It was a lovely thoughtful idea you had and I'm sure it meant alot to her.
I am so sorry to hear this, I didn't know Cathey but I did post a pumpkin for her blogaversary. I have added her family to my prayers and I hope all those pumpkins in some small way brightened her last days.
I just can't believe it. I knew something was up when she hadn't posted in so long. I am glad that she is no longer suffering though. Prayers for her family and friends.
I'm really struggling with the loss of Cathey, too, Sharon...I'm so glad you pulled us all together to get the "Pumpkins For Cathey" posts up. As it turned out, they were just in time. Catherine posted on her blog that she did get to see them so I hope she felt that tremendous outpouring of love and support surrounding her in her final hours...
