November ORT Report

Last month was so depressing I have no words to express. Losing Cathey was heartbreaking. I want to thank those of you that participated in my Pumpkins for Cathey event. I am sure all the blog posts gave our dear Pumpkin a bit of cheer.

My ORT jar greatly suffered my lack of stitching mojo. How sad:

Let's see your ORTs! TUSALers leave a comment on this post with the address to your November update. If I decide to host a giveaway at the end of the year you will receive an extra entry! Are you wondering what on Earth a TUSAL is? Click here for info!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

  2. I agree! It was a very sad month. I was so happy to see the huge response to Pumpkins for Cathey day. I literally had tears of joy for her! And in so short a time the tears were for such sorrow. My heart still breaks for her little guy.

  3. Sharon,

It has been sad...I found myself not wanting to stitch or blog much after the passing of Cathey.

Maybe she knew how much we loved her. Maybe she could feel the love from us all and it made it easier for her to leave us. Just a thought.

A little threads is better then none. Your jar looks great!

How is Molly dog doing? Getting into anything new?

    Have a wonderful day!

  5. I came to "know" Cathey just this month and soon she was gone. My heart was so saddened by this. She was in my prayers as her family now is. I went to see all the pumpkins myself and they were such a beautiful tribute to her and I'm sure she was so blessed!

I'm afraid my own ORT jar is quite sad looking, too. I haven't been picking up my needle much, but intend to do just that this month!

    Many blessings - Julie

  14. I don't think words can express the sorrow we all feel. I believe she knew and felt the love from all of us.

The piece you're working on is so cute! A few threads in the jar are better than no threads in the jar.

  31. you're right, it was a sad sad month indeed. I started re-reading Cathey's blog from the start, sometimes it's very painful - sometimes it's so funny I find myself laughing out loud. we all have to thank her for being the great woman she was.
