Last month was so depressing I have no words to express. Losing Cathey was heartbreaking. I want to thank those of you that participated in my Pumpkins for Cathey event. I am sure all the blog posts gave our dear Pumpkin a bit of cheer.
My ORT jar greatly suffered my lack of stitching mojo. How sad:

Yes it has been a sad month, hugs
ReplyDeleteIt was very sad news about Cathey. She will very greatly missed.
ReplyDeleteI have posted my TUSAL for this month, on time.
I agree! It was a very sad month. I was so happy to see the huge response to Pumpkins for Cathey day. I literally had tears of joy for her! And in so short a time the tears were for such sorrow. My heart still breaks for her little guy.
ReplyDeleteSharon,
ReplyDeleteIt has been sad...I found myself not wanting to stitch or blog much after the passing of Cathey.
Maybe she knew how much we loved her. Maybe she could feel the love from us all and it made it easier for her to leave us. Just a thought.
A little threads is better then none. Your jar looks great!
How is Molly dog doing? Getting into anything new?
Have a wonderful day!
Carolyn
I love the piece your working on in the pic Sharon. Can you tell me what it is.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link for my TUSAL for the month.

Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI came to "know" Cathey just this month and soon she was gone. My heart was so saddened by this. She was in my prayers as her family now is. I went to see all the pumpkins myself and they were such a beautiful tribute to her and I'm sure she was so blessed!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid my own ORT jar is quite sad looking, too. I haven't been picking up my needle much, but intend to do just that this month!
Many blessings - Julie
Apparently Cathey read them so she knew how much she was loved :)

I don't think words can express the sorrow we all feel. I believe she knew and felt the love from all of us.
ReplyDeleteThe piece you're working on is so cute! A few threads in the jar are better than no threads in the jar.
Great orts!
