Totally Useless Box

Hello TUSALers! It's the New Moon! Let us see your ORTs! Mine are a little different this time:

Lindsay gave me this little box many years ago and it's always been used as my travel ORT container that also holds my pinkeep, scissors, and extra needles. Right after last month's New Moon, I started saving my ORTs in it since my year-to-date jar is so full. After the pic was taken I put them in that jar and I'll show it in December. I tote this box to Dad's house each week and occasionally he asks, "What is it you do with those again?" LOL

=^..^=

Now it is YOUR turn...we want to see your ORTs! Leave a comment on this post with a link to your September TUSAL post so we can come to visit! If I hold a Totally Useless giveaway your comment will earn you an extra entry.

  1. That’s a sweet ort box that reminds you of a friend! I’ve been so wrapped up with my granddaughter that I’ve hardly done any Stitching... but I keep thinking one day is coming!

  3. It's a good idea to have a little tin for your ORTs. Mine has a needle minder on it so I always have somewhere to put my needle down safely.

Here's my ORT Report for September:

  7. That little box is so perfect! I have a small tin box that I think I will use daily and just empty it into my huge jar that I have the rest in. Totally stealing this idea! Awesome!

  8. What a good idea for a travel ORT container! I could have used it when I was at my mom's last week--I'm afraid she'll be finding various pieces of floss all over her apartment for the next month :) Lovely new piece you are stitching, Sharon!

  13. Very useful tin!
I made, and use, a mini thread catcher for my ORTs and use it all the time ..... it’s big enough for my little ORTs!
