It was the New Moon last Wednesday, did you get your ORTs posted? I was out of town, staying with my parents as dad was needing a bit of extra help with mom.
The Totally Useless Stitch A Long posting date of the New Moon is just a suggestion, good thing as I'm so often late!
My Merry Sunshine is slowly, slowly getting there. I keep stitching, then frogging what I stitched as I decide on the correct color. I'm just picky!
=^..^=
Now it is YOUR turn...we want to see your ORTs! Leave a comment on this post with a link to your November TUSAL post so we can come to visit! If I hold a Totally Useless giveaway your comment will earn you an extra entry.

It seems to be so long since I have done any cross stitching....but I definitely have thread from mis-beading!
ReplyDeleteNice stitching and unstitching ORT's
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your parents. That stitching tin is ingenious! I like the added magnet. I had all the parts ready for my TUSAL, pictures taken, words written. I just forgot to put it all together. Mistake now mended. Here's my November TUSAL post.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is looking great! Sorry to hear about your parents - I totally understand as I have the same situation with mine. Mother has MS and has gone downhill a lot the past few years. They have hospice that comes M-F mornings to help with her shower then daddy has to care for her the rest of the day. If he needs to go somewhere someone has to go stay with her - frequently me.
ReplyDeleteI don't empty my orts every month - I have a jar that has been sitting by my chair for a couple of years and I just keep packing them down. Some day it will get full - then I'll have to decide what to do with it!
Merry sunshine is coming along beautifully!

Sorry to hear about your Mom. I understand parents needing care. My Dad feel, again....... a few days ago and has 4 cracked ribs. Getting old isn't easy. Have forgotten what ORT's and TUSAL's are. Think I looked them up before, but don't remember.

It is so nice that you live close enough to help your parents out. And your stitching is gorgeous as always!!
