I feel really guilty for not stitching on my Snapper Year. I got a little distracted with strawberries. So, my March WIP is still stuck on that rude phrase and the new one is growing quickly. Well, not TOO quickly! I admit, frogs invaded for a short time because I thought I was so above checking the pattern, photographic memory ~ you know? NOT!
When this is finished (maybe a pin pillow?) I'm thinking of sending this to someone who reads this blog...
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

So cute! Who's the designer Sharon?
ReplyDeleteYou don't have much of MA left so you better get stitching ;o)
Too Cute Sharon! Who cares about a dumb ol' WIP anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the strawberries! I think a pin cushion would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Strawberries are just coming into the grocery stores here in California. Who is the designer?
ReplyDeleteVery cute strawberry! I thimk it'll make a great pin pillow.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty stawberry. Sorry about the frogging and hope you WIP get smaller!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I read the title in Google Reader...just had to click for an explanation! Too funny, but I do like your latest finish. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteYa know, I think you just have to stitch on what you are in the mood to stitch. I believe you get more done that way =) Other than the one or two exchanges I signed up for this year, that is what I plan to do! Even then I still have to choose between cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, beading, tatting.....
ReplyDeleteThat is cute. I cracked up at the title to your post.
ReplyDeleteFor me? How kind! LOL! Seriously though, I was just talking about Strawberry picking with my mom yesterday. We were reminising about how she would tell the people that they should weigh me before I went in and then when I came out because I would eat more than I picked! I love the good old days!
ReplyDeleteSay it aint so, Daffycat, you couldn't possibly ever need to frog! Why you're my hero :) I kinda liked that "rude phase" it made me chuckle...but I must say that your strawberry is beautiful and oh so perfect, as usual...I think it would be great as a pillow...you can use one of those awesome new fabrics that you bought....in fact I must tell you I had a dream about your stash! I know, I got a problem! LOL...Stashonista's unite!
ReplyDeleteStay warm and hugs
Ma
That is a cutie, and don't feel guilty about Snapper Year--this is supposed to be a no-guilt hobby!
ReplyDeleteAnd that adorable ornie that you made and I won hung on the best part of the Christmas tree for the entire season. Just think--I can get it out again in something under 9 months! Hah--Christmas is coming!
Cute start Sharon. I have been thinking about strawberries this past week. We have a farm about a mile from us and we picked and ate our fill last spring. This year I am going to make sure I freeze some so I can enjoy "almost" fresh strawberries in January!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful strawberries!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, this would make a really lovely summer pin pillow, will you plz share when finished? Always enjoy each and every one of your posts:)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Have I ever told you I loved the Strawberry Shortcake doll as a kid? This would make a cute pin keep. You could even spray some strawberry perfume on it. LOL
ReplyDeletealways worth it to be distracted by strawberries....just a little whipped cream and sliver of chocolate.....heaven
ReplyDeletecute pattern!
Pretty strawberries! And it really won't be all that long before we're picking them again. Yum!

That's pretty! Seems to be a fruity theme going on in Bloglandia. I'm stitching cherries and I saw someone else stitching apples. Time for a fruit salad :-)

I love your strawberry. I bet it will make a cute pin pillow. Who is the designer?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty strawberry. You've been a busy camper...not surprising you would fall behind in stitching. Life just gets in the way sometimes.
ReplyDeletePretty design
ReplyDeleteMa blows. lol I love it! But remember, there is no 'guilt' in stitching. :) Love your strawberry pin pillow, too Sharon. Really pretty.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning - I am behind in blogging. Too much to do and not enough time.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of your stash haul - all that dmc, wonderful!
I also love your little snowman piece. Was the design in a magazine? It is just too cute!
Of couse I am partial to the strawberry finish as it reminds me of spring and not snow. I think it will look wonderful as a little pin pillow.
Enjoy your day and I can't wait to see what you stitch up next.
This is too cute-loving the border! :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty . . . Pontchatoula strawberry season is just around the corner. Yum!

The strawberries are looking wonderful. Love your new stash, LOL at the seven foot receipt.
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries are so cute! :) Hopefully you can get rid of the frogs and enjoy your stitching! I too have those moments of thinking that the pattern on my head is the same as the one on the page...... rats!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I'm allergic to strawberries, but I love looking at them!! Very cute, Sharon :)

Heh, March is my favorite month of the Snapper Year. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the strawberry pattern. You are doing great. Hopefully no more frogs!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful strawberry pattern and you can finish it in so many different ways, a pincushion, a pinkeep, and hanging pillow, a flatfold. And each of them would look great with this motif.
ReplyDeleteMa Blows - is so funny!
ReplyDeleteYour strawberries look lovely.
Have a great weekend!
Such a cute strawberry.
ReplyDeleteI just dropped by to let you know that you have an award from me.
Love
