The original title of this post was "Right On Time." I was quite chuffed! Unfortunately, when I looked at the calendar with more focus I realized it hadn't been turned to September. That means I am late with the Totally Useless Stitch A Long.
Again.
This is becoming a long running joke!
I have been plugging away at Finery of Nature. Slowly, I might add. Currently, I am working on the flowers and the border to the right of the dragonfly. The black fabric is getting easier (I'm making friends with it) and the more I do the more excited I get about the design. There is something about these jewel colors on the black fabric that enchants.
=^..^=

My post is up only a day late this month :) http://purplepds.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/tusal-time-once-more.html
Those bright, rich colors on black fabric are stunning – what a beautiful piece! Every time you post a progress pic I’m amazed all over again - black fabric – yikes!
My TUSAL post is HERE.
Sharon: First I want to say what a beautiful design you are stitching, I have only stitched on black once on a small piece it almost drove me nuts.
I want to tell you how sorry I am about not thanking you for the beautiful fob you sent me, I am so sorry the day it arrived was the day Mike was having triple bypass surgery, it was put aside and found today I am so ashamed.
I will be posting a photo tomorrow and how I am using it.
Thank-you it is lovely.
Blessings
Catherine

Love it!
Omigosh, you're still working away on this! Have I mentioned before that I have a partially sewn one in my basement. I started it in California, so prior to 2003!
The black fabric is a challenge. But you know, so, so worth it!
