My leaf bowl is filled with scraps from sewing the Dresden centers and the corner bits from joining binding strips for En Provence. The little pink cup was begged from my retreat hostess when I unpacked and realized I had arrived with NOTHING to save ORTs in! HORRORS! Doing Dresdens, it started filling up immediately, these are thread wasting blocks!
My first Dresden at the retreat. Totally worth wasting thread. The mini iron and board came in mighty handy with all the pressing required to create these.
I think my favorite part is doing the Blanket Stitching!
A close second favorite was the blackberry cobbler they fed us for dessert one evening! Yum!
=^..^=

(I get to be first? cool!)
Oh, just look at that beautiful Dresden plate block! Love the fabrics you’re using (okay, I admit it, I’m always very partial to scrappy blue quilts). Looks like the blocks are good sized – how many are you planning (and apologies if you’ve told us before – my brain seems to be like a sieve lately)? That’s going to be another wonderful quilt!
My April orts are HERE.
This is my first month participating in the TUSAL. My April post is here: http://randib82.blogspot.com/2017/04/april-tusal-update.html?m=1
Hiya,
It's been a while since I posted an ort report but I decided to jump right back in again! I did notice when I wanted to link to the 2017 TUSAL master post that it doesn't exist... was this intentional or did I fail to find it? The link in the side bar leads to last year's master post and looking at the older posts didn't lead to me finding one either.
You can find my ort report here: Friday Freebie: Spider's Web and TUSAL
