I dug this cute birdie out of the finish box and sewed it up. This sweet pinkeep is twin to ones I've finished before. This one just never got done! It's stuffed with crushed walnut shells and backed with mattress ticking. I edged the seams with a prim cross stitch in olive.
Design ~ Tweet Hearts, Exemplar #2
Designer ~ Blackbird Designs
Fabric ~ 32 count tea-dyed Jobelan
Fiber ~ DMC
Finish ~ Pinkeep
I then ruched ribbon for what seemed like hours and hours and hours. Not my favorite thing to do.
It was the perfect edging for my Fa La La ornament so I kept at it! Eagle eyes will notice I changed the lettering from the original and added a few notes.
Design ~ Fa La La
Designer ~ Plum Pudding Needlearts
Fabric ~ 28 count tea-dyed Monaco, over one
Fiber ~ DMC
Finish ~ Christmas Ornament
Another pull from the finish box was this elephant which I popped into a greeting card and it's off to my sister-in-law for her birthday. This design is one of my freebies!
With this splurge of finishing I'm sure to come up with something interesting to do next!
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

I love heart-shaped pillows and ornaments. Your little birdie looks wonderful. And so do the other two finishes.
Well done with your finishes, it is my least favourite part of it all. x
Great finishes.
Ruched ribbon does take time, but it's so pretty on a finish.
You're on a roll!

Well done, you, they all look fabulous!
All three are fabulous! I really like the way you finished the heart. Way to go on getting them out of your finishes box! Have St. Patrick's Day!
I love that heart. You did an excellent finishing job! Thanks for listing the chart because it's one I've always wanted, forgot about, and will now hunt for. Enjoy your weekend!
All of the projects you finished look great!
Great job on the finishes! I especially like the card.
Everything looks wonderful. I love the little heart.
Congratulations on your finishes. They all look fabulous! I'll be giving both the ruching and the edged seams in a couple of projects that need finishing. You've inspired me! :)
Such cute ornaments, Sharon! Love that birdie with his little x's in the seams. And the ruched ribbon always makes for a wonderful edging, too. Love the snowman--I also added musical notes when I stitched him back in 2009. They add a lot to the original design I think :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Love your Tweet Heart finish, it's perfect for the design! Ruching ribbon is a huge pain in the neck, and my ruffles never seem to come out evenly, but your look great. Totally worth it!
Beautiful finish’s, I love the touching on the snowman.
Blessings

Your heart pincushion looks wonderful and I really like the way you did the green cross stitches over the seam. Love the look of ruched ribbon but have been too intimidated to try it - that is the perfect ribbon and exactly the right finish for your Fa La La ornament - adorable! Your little elephant is so cute.
Those are awesome! They look just perfect!
Your slaving over the ruched ribbon turned out great and so perfect for your Snow Singer. The little elephant is so cute too. :D
Seeing your beautiful bird heart sent my scrambling to find my copy of that BBD book... I want to stitch up this sweet bird too. Love the cross stitch edging you added. As for ruching ribbon...love the finish...hate the time it takes. Your ornament is beautiful... happy stitching!
Really great finishes!
Very pretty! And a lovely finish too. It’s always nice to finish things off when they were really finished a while ago!
Your finishing is superb! I love the prim cross stitched edging! All 3 look so good!
Fa-la-la is a super finish, the ruched edge is perfect and the little ding dong bell is adorable.
The prim criss cross edging I really like ... might have to have a go at that myself.
A lovely heart and beautiful ruching too!
