June ORT Report

It's that time again! I've already seen a few TUSAL posts in my reader, showing off those lovely ORTs! At least I think ORTs are pretty, anyway. Whee! It is so nice to show off a goodly amount of threads this time ~ along with a few sprigs of Lavender from my garden. Most of these ORTs are from Dandy Dreams but a few are from an exchange that I will share soon.
ORT? TUSAL? What's going on, you ask? Join us in the Totally Useless Stitch A Long. Grab an empty jar and fill it with your thread ends (or Old Ratty Threads,) then post a photo of your jar on (or near) the New Moon. It's too late to enter for the big giveaway but it is loads of fun, I promise. LOL

Many thanks to those in the SAL that are adding a link to my blog in your posts. I heart you so much.

Mouse? Calling sweet Mouse! I can't comment on your blog! I really, really want to but your blog is broken. Please see my last post. Can you fix it? Pretty please? And to those suggesting I just use the name/URL option ~ that feature isn't always there. There are quite a few others I have emailed as well. Please everyone, check your blog! Although some may be able to comment ~ others can not.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Got my TUSAL posted last night -- I have NO idea what is wrong with my blog (my ds says he detects a "bug" somewhere, but i will have to wait til I get to VA for him to really figure it out) I can WRITE my blog on my laptop, but it WILL NOT POST although if I call it up on another machine, I can "edit" and then post it fine.

The TUSAL sounds like a blast! If you do it again next year I want to play.

Those orts looks so pretty especially alongside the sprig of lavender. I believe my lavender was a victim of the lawn mower at our place! It's never recovered so I'll have to plant some more.
DH needs a lesson on how to stay on the grass!

I love lavender..... yummy, yummy smelling lavender. Beautiful, glorious lavender. No... I'm not drunk. LOL. ;)

Love the purples and greens in your ORT that's reflecting the colors of the beautiful, yummy smelling lavender...... LOL!

The lavendar is lovely, wish I could grow it in my yard.

I finally was able to post my TUSAL last nite. I missed 2 months!!

Your lavender is further ahead than mine is - mine is just starting to leaf out - it'll be a couple of weeks yet before I'll see blooms. Although the winter here was so cold and the spring so wet, I'm not sure how much will have survived!

I managed to get my ORT report up finally - I'm a bit late, but hopefully I won't be taken out back and shot for it. :-)

Yeah got mine in! Not much change but hopefully when my sleep schedule from work is figured out it'll get better. I'm losing my Thursday night and 3rd Saturday stitches though :(

Good MEOWning Daffycat! I love that you are hosting this TUSAL! Thank you for the fun.

I was doing the Pogo cross word and ORTS was an answer! Except it's clue was Plate Scrapings? I didn't know the old bits of food were orts?

Patty said...

I posted mine last night and for the first time I did not include a link back to your blog or even explain what a TUSAL was because I was in a hurry to get it up since I was so late. http://pipstitch.blogspot.com/2011/06/june-tusal-update.html

I didn't know that about ORTs either. You learn something new every day!!

I love lavendar and I think I may have a plant in the back of the house at our new place. Not sure and it is looking a tad sickly. I hope to plump it up.
