The Love Bug

My Valentine exchange has landed! Paula, of Needles, Hooks & Paperback Books has emailed to let me know it arrived. I sewed her a long pillow and a little scissor fob. This was one of the rare times I've mailed an exchange late. You see, I had the long pillow all ready to be mailed when I received my Valentine, the gorgeous scissor keep from Michelle. Suffering from a bit of performance anxiety, I was positive my exchange was inferior. So I decided to whip up a little fob to make up for it. Then, I had a rough week at the grocery store because another winter storm was predicted and all of Stillwater had to stock up on several weeks worth of groceries before it hit. I was so tired after work each day that the fob took me forever to finish. And then the storm arrived. So with all these excuses the exchange was a day late being mailed. Why yes, I am OCD. How can you tell?

Paula seemed to like what I sent so I seem to be forgiven.

"Seemed to like it?" I LOVE it! It was a fabulous exchange and I was so happy that you were the one to send to me! And guess what? I also mailed on Monday to my partner =) Thanks so much for everything you sent to me! Silly woman!

Aww; you should have more confidence, this is a lovely exchange. But, I'm the same way myself. I'm already agonizing over the Easter Exchange! Have to be careful--it'll be bad luck to give someone something you made while in a bad atmosphere, right?

I love the long pillow. It's perfect. I'm always anxious when I send an exchange. I have no original ideas in my head at all. So, I end up finishing what I am most comfortable with...little stuffed pillow!

Another winter round on it's way? Gee, I hope not.

I LOVE IT!!! You had nothing to worry about...you did a great job in finishing. I have yet to do either... a long pillow (which I love) nor a fob. So you did great.

Very pretty! I love the finishing--may have to keep it in mind as I've never tried anything like that. Nice bright colors, too (much better than the one color that seems to be everywhere right now--gray, and snow-white!).

Performance anxiety?! The Love Bug is ADORABLE!

I thought of you 2 days ago when I went to the store to stock up for our Snowpocalypse. Also I thought of you last night when I went to stock up. And this morning when I went to stock up! Hee--no parking spots, no bread, and you can tell all of the poor grocery people were on their last legs and nerves.
