Fabric on order

These strange "photos" messed with my layout! Doesn't that look stupid!

I couldn't decide what color fabric I wanted to use for next years' monthly project, Bent Creek's Snapper Year. I knew I wanted a Silkweaver fabric since I REALLY like the Silkweaver I'm using for Crabby All Year. So I ordered two cuts of 32 count Lugana in Golden Honey and Sand. What do you think?

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

I love both, although golden honey is my favorite! 32 count, huh? 28 is about all I can manage.

They're both pretty! I think you'll one once you get them and can see them with your threads. I'm looking forward to seeing what you pick!

They're both lovely, but I'd go with the Sand for Snapper.

I'm sorry because I'm biased and love their Sand :o)

I like the Sand...that's what I stitched mine on. It compliments the charts really nicely. Although I think that if I was to do it again, I would pick a more mottled fabric, so that it showed more. The Sand that I have is very subtle.

Another Sand vote. But I'd much rather see it in person. So... if the snow gets to be a bit much feel free to drive on down to Houston, I've got a guest room and we can floss toss & compare stash to our hearts content. lol

I'd go with Sand too...but I like the stitching to stand out more than the fabric usually.

I love both but think the Sand will look really nice with it!

That's a difficult decision because both your fabrics are beautiful. I'd decide spontaneously.

And another Sand vote here but I'm thinking it will take you to have them both in front of you to decide.

I like the Golden Honey. I see I am in the minority!

They are both lovely, but I think I'd go for the sand as it seems slightly more neutral

I choose the sand colour to. What a nice work you gonna make! Let you know your choice?

Those are both very pretty. I like Silkweaver fabrics too. I would have to do a floss toss because I am not familiar with the colors/flosses in that piece but I am sure yours will be fabulous!

My vote is for Sand, too (mainly because I've never liked the taste of honey. Well, not it's not like I enjoy the taste of sand either, but you get the idea!)

Sorry, no help here because I really like both of them.

I really like the golden honey best, bot after seeing the complete chart, I would go with the sand, the golden honey seems to be a bit too warm for that project.

I love the Golden Honey

The honey is too yellow for my taste. I'm for sand too. Looks like a consensus is building.

I like them both and have them both but I'd vote for Sand for this project - but it's up to you!

Golden Honey gets my vote

I like the Sand, I've used it before, it's a lovely colour fabric.
