Can you believe I finished my October Snapper Year already? I'm thinking this design was the whole reason for stitching this project! I love this silly pumpkin. Ooo ~ this counts as a pumpkin challenge finish too, doesn't it? This one had nearly every color changed from the recommended ones. I enjoyed stitching it a lot...it was so easy and quick. Now, I have three whole weeks of stitching whatever I feel like before I can start the November block. It's hard to believe I finished so early. Remember when I stitched May's block early then had to frog the whole thing? Yay, this block is in the correct place!
Today is the New Moon! That means it's time for a Totally Useless update. My ORT jar is plum full. See all that orange thread from stitching pumpkins? Autumn colors are the best! Join us for the Totally Useless Stitch a Long...grab an empty jar, save your ORTs and post a picture on your blog on the New Moon.
It was back to work for me today. Blech! But not too bad ~ it's almost the weekend already, right? Oh, what I wouldn't give to be a lady of leisure with nothing to do but stitch and stash...
.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

October's block is so CUTE! I too love this time of year.
I would have hardly anything to show if I started an ORT jar. I started one many months ago and it hardly has anything in it. I usually use my floss until it's shorter than the needle!
I love this square!!!!!!
Yea for you for getting perfectly caught up! That pumpkin is definitely made for the challenge. I'm sure you will find some stitching to keep you occupied til November!
Yea! For finishing October so quick! I love that pumpkin.
So, what now?
Yay for finishing early! I love your TUSAL jar this month.
Wow, you are flying through Snapper Year now! October Curls looks great!Reminds me to take a photo of my TUSAL jar when I get home tonight...if it's not dark by then!
Love the Pumpkin Block !! I emptied my Ort Jar today, while cleaning house. I am filling it up again.
A great square Sharon, look forward to seeing your new stitching pieces. Hugs!
Another lovely block. Your ort jar is very full. Can't wait to see what you stitch next.
I'm off to find a bottle - I usually mash them up into a little bowl..... this looks much more satisfying!
Hugz
That is just so cute. I think it should count for the Pumpkin Challenge.
Yeah!!!! Done way ahead of time! You go girl! Three whole weeks of stitching whatever.
Love that art jar! Mine is almost full so it's time to head to Arizona and start working on that one
It DEFINITELY counts. :D
Would you believe I have TWO finishes (and one finish-finished) for the challenge which I have not blogged or posted *sad*. I'm thinking this is sandwich-and stitch night. Does it count as cooking if I toast them in the oven? I even *made* soup from an envelope and added some things. ;)
Wow Sharon, how stinkin' cute!
I had this one all kitted up to work on at the beach in Aug. and still haven't started it yet. LOL
Well, now you've inspired me to get to it! I'm still working on Jolly Jack! I'm just so slow, ha.
Take care!

Yipee! It looks great. I'm with you on the lady of leisure thing. Where are all those self made millionaires when we need them? :o)
I'm going to have to go see what the original colors are on this one, your color choices are perfect! Congrats on getting it finished so quickly.
You are flying along with this years calendar. Anything on the agenda for next year?
Your almost there Sharon! Can you see the finish line? October looks great, look forward to seeing what you decide to stitch with your "free" time!
Too cute!!! Can't wait to see it completed.I'm jealous!!
Love October's square! Aaahhhh wouldn't it just be divine if we could all just stitch and stash and eat bonbon's with consequences?
*sigh*
October Curls is very cute. I would imagine there might be a little more orange in your ort jar next month, eh?
That little pumpkin certainly does count! Two birds killed at once, a monthly finish and a pumpkin finish. Way to go!!
Hope your return to work went smoothly. So what stitch comes next?
Wow Congratz with your early finish. It looks great. Yes this is another one for your pumkin challenge.
Love all the colors in your jar.
Good luck with deciding what too stitch next, it will be something beautifull.......
That pumpkin is too adorable for words withits curly little stem!
Enjoy your "free" stitching time
Snapper blocks looking good and Spooky Cat finished beautifully.
Have a good weekend.
As as close to a "lady of leisure" as anyone could be, I will say there is still a lot of LIFE that gets in the way of stitching. Like laundry (the current task) and making dinner (no, you really do you get tired of going out for every meal) and bills. Even if I don't vacuum or clean, 24 hours goes by in a flash.
Its so cute!!
Ohh was it new moon? I always forget.....lucky I have you to remember it ;))
lolz
Great job on October!
lovely pumpkin!, i want time to stitch. and a lot of stash,, and win the lottery to do all this.. ;D ;D
Yay you! Well done on the October Snapper AND the SAL. I'm notoriously bad at them and would even fail to deliver THIS one on time, but I enjoy following your - shall we say - progress :o)
