Bee Keeper

I was bored last night so I started a new project...and finished it! (Surprise! It isn't a Christmas ornament!!!) A sweet, tiny scissor fob with a charming bumblebee. This is an old Drawn Thread freebie, still available: click here

Design ~ Bee Keeper
Designer ~ The Drawn Thread
Fabric ~ 32 count tea-dyed Lugana
Fiber ~ DMC

Isn't that the cutest fob? Best of all, you can finish it in an evening. I, the Queen of Slow Stitching, was able to complete it during breaks from house cleaning. I stuffed mine with crushed walnut shells and fiberfill.

Have you stitched this one? Want to?

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

That is really, really cute and perfect for spring. I hope to see some bees around here as soon as we rid of the rest of the snowbanks! xo Diana

Your bee fob looks marvelous! How exciting to start and finish, uh, finish-finish in one night! I've stitched several of the DT freebie fobs but not this one, though after seeing yours, it's on my to-do list!

I have that little cutie in my to do stack. Never thought of adding walnut shells to the stuffing. Great finish Sharon.
Have a great weekend,

This is sweet. I have stitched myself a few years ago. I don't have it as a scissor fab though, it just sits in a summer basket of smalls. x

I've stitched that one before as a gift - I should stitch it for myself. Great job!

Love bees and this is a sweet one. So nice to be able to stitch a rose and even complete it so quickly.

Breaks from housecleaning??? I've never heard anything so strange! Surely you mean you did a bit of cleaning in your stitching breaks?

Whichever way it is, it is a really cute design. Love it!

House cleaning? I've heard that it can be a hazardous to your health.....better to err on the side of caution and just stitch!!! :) Sweet design and a lovely finish
