Late ORTs

I'm late with our Totally Useless Stitch A Long post! I was so tired yesterday I didn't even turn on the computer. I think I napped in my chair all day! But here I am now and my ORTs are all purple:

I have been a lazy stitcher the past few weeks and haven't finished that (swoon) big purple dress. I have also been a bad blogger with the lack of posts too.

Last Thursday our meteorologists were tracking a cold front and noticed radar was picking up the migration of Monarch butterflies on their way to Mexico ahead of the front. How cool is that? Can you imagine so many butterflies they look like a line of storms on the radar? People were posting photos of their trees just full of butterflies. I didn't see any at my house. Boo.

=^..^=

Now it is YOUR turn...we want to see your ORTs! Leave a comment on this post with a link to your October TUSAL post so we can come to visit! If I hold a Totally Useless giveaway your comment will earn you an extra entry.

Wondering what a TUSAL is and why all these people are posting pictures of rubbish? Click here to learn more and join the fun!

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Loving that purple dress!!
We had a Monarch on our Hummie feeder last week.
I went outside and smeared some of the sugar water on the top for it.
I think maybe it got lost from the pack when migrating. :(
Hope it got to where it was going!

I'm in the OKC area, too! Unfortunately, I didn't see any butterflies at my place, either. :(

Technology is so wonderful in letting people know about things, lots more for to see this wonderful sight I bet than would have witnessed without the radar.

That would have been so cool to see all the Monarchs, I'm sorry you didn't get to see them.

That is so neat about the butterflies. I've been seeing a lot of photos of trees full of them on Instagram. But, we didn't see a single one in our yard :(

Yes was wondering what TUSAL's and ORT's were referring to when I read your post. Love the purple dress, hope you get more time to stitch soon. I love butterflies and would think to see them migrating ahead of the storm would be really cool.
